[ short-span nova ]

in the humid night, ignite summer blossom. each effloresce into flora of varying dreams and hope, bring simles upon the weary faces. people swamp fr 4 corners and gather to witness the annual fireworks festival. children dance to merry tunes; lovers kiss to spendid sight; couples re-vow under the starry night.

there as well, with my mum. yup the 2 of us. and i made 2 discoveries about her.

1) she has a lame sense of humour. and a potential terrorist candidate.
was holding her and pushing our way thru the crowd that dun seems to be moving. and it was 5 min beofre the fireworks. anxiety and kiasu-ness don me when all of the sudden she said, "wow, so crowded. the terrorist put a bomb here and so many people will die ... "

i was like, " omg where did u get the idea from?"

she smiled, and i continue pushing her to hastern our speed.

the fireworks start shortly after we got ourselves a comfortable spot. that was when i made my 2nd discovery.

2) old with age, young at heart.
like always, i brought out my phone to capture the fireworks. (yes, i've got almost the entire process. msg me on msn to get the clips) she started wow-ing at the short-span nova, almost simultaneously. well, wow-ing died off after the first few minutes. amazement don't last.

but best still, as the fireworks reach orgasm, erm i mean climax, she started giving appluase. maybe for the france team, maybe to atmosphere. whatever it is, she was elated, like a child given a piece of candy for scoring good grades.

cant help but to think how contradicting she was. asked earlier in the afternoon if she wants to watch the fireworks, and her reply wasnt show the least interest. and she asked me to go out with my friends. but after last night, i must say she's really bad at telling the truth. given her characteristic, how can i not adore her :)
