"60 types of fireworks, with six new additions "(straits times, 220704) seems that the display for national day is constantly improving every year, well they have to.people of this humble island are constantly asking for improvement and innovation.from the national day fun pack to the display events, they are always asking for better, newer performances.but this beg the question are we doing enough for the country to deserve all these. the country is constantly provide us what it seems to be its best, but ungrateful citizens always have the appetite for something bigger.recall this, at the time when minister goh.c.t stepped up as the post of pm, how many of us ,i mean our parents reckon that readers of my blog are too young for that,actually gave him the support.note that i didnt use "fullest support".many time, or what seems to be mostly of THE time, what human nature seeks out for are the simplicity of support,a word of encouragement, a pet on the shoulder.but, again, how many people actually recognise the importance of these.many time, we only know how to ASK,but not GIVE. so it always beg the question that do we really deserve what we enjoyed yesterday, what we have today and what we will be recieving tomorrow.
